LO4: Evaluation

In order for my magazine to meet the brief, I have created a South Asian wedding magazine to target my audience located in Sheffield. The pages of my magazine presents South Asian elements such as my models dress in elegant traditional South Asian attire on their wedding events as well as mandala designs across my magazine pages to make my pages appealing to my target audience of South Asian males and females aged 18-30 years old located in Sheffield who are engaged or planning their wedding events. The Baraat magazine may also interest males and females who would love to read a South Asian wedding magazine who are interested in South Asian Fashion as well as who love traditional events and to see others events to receive ideas and inspiration from. The main target of my magazine is for South Asian females who are brides-to-be that are looking for ideas and inspiration to make their wedding events special for them to cherish forever. My magazine is catered towards ABC1 50%, higher class audience located in Sheffield in which appeals to the large population of the South Asian community located in Sheffield.

The mention of my promotion on my front cover in which a lucky reader will be able to win a £5000 voucher for their dream wedding photographer in which will attract my audiences, as this will be beneficial if they may be struggling with finances and to have the cost covered for a professional wedding photographer to have their dream wedding shots for them to love and cherish forever. 

FRONT COVER:

Visualisation Diagram:

As presented above was the visualization plan of what my original ideas was to create my front cover my magazine. As you can see compared to the planning of drawing of my front cover and to the final finished look of my front cover, I have changed quite a lot from the original plans to the finished product. I'm going to start off with the front cover image. In the visualization diagram, I presented an image of the couple walking away with a behind shot image to symbolise the idea of the couple walking away to start their new journey together. However, I didn't want to use this as people I didn't like how I wasn't able to reveal my models looks on their Baraat day and by illustrating their pure emotions on their wedding day. So because of this reason, I decided to capture a medium close up of the couple on their Baraat day to convey their pure emotions on the day and in which I insisted the bride to have had on her grooms chest and to have her head laid on his shoulder and having her eyes closed whilst the groom looks at her. This shot connotes the idea of protection, love and securing, ensuring that the bride is well safe with her husband as he takes her home away from her parent's house. 

For the mast head, I did keep the original use of fonts such as "Classy" for the word "THE" and also the font "Elegant" for the word "Baraat". This is because both of the fonts contrast well together and making the magazine to look professional and elegant, making it appealing to my target audience. However I decided the change the colour of the word "THE" to white instead of having the original use of colour "Burgundy red". I have changed the colour white to connote the idea of elegant, pure and simplicity and for it also stand out against the background image and to make it more visible to my audience. I also added a gaussian blur effect to the word "THE" to enhance the overall design of the mast head and making it glowing against the background image. 

I got rid of the text "TODAY'S PAKISTAN" because it just didn't fit right on the design of my front cover and would've taken a lot of space. So instead,  I added mandala designs on to my front cover to represent the theme/genre of my magazine to include Pakistani art to make the magazine more appealing to my target audience. I used the colour white the mandala designs on my front cover to make it visible to my target audience. 

I did decide to keep the original plans of the cover lines, as well the style of how I was going to present the cover lines. Such as "The ideal guide for a bride and groom". I have created the word "THE" in the font "Impact" to make the word bold and to stand out on top of the front cover image. I then added a white gaussian blur behind the text to make it glow and make it more visible against the dark area of the image. I then created a small rectangle banner frame for the text "ideal" in the colour burgundy red to represent the traditional colour of worn by a bride or groom on their wedding day. I presented the word "ideal" in the font "Classy" and presented a gold gradient overlay to make the word stand out the most in that cover line as much its the key purpose of this magazine and making ideal for the target audience to pick up my magazine and knowing it will be beneficial for them to read to receive inspiration and ideas for them to plan their dream Pakistani wedding. I also presented the word "guide" for the same reasons. And for the last text "For a bride and groom", I used the font "Cochin" and made all the letters capitalized to make it stand out and to reveal to the audience the purpose of the magazine. I used the colour white to make the text to stand out a lot more on top of the background image and making it visible to my target audience. 

I added a promotional onto the front cover of my magazine, informing my audience that they would able to win a £5000 voucher in which they will be able to use for their dream wedding photographer. This promotional will be a great way for to be able to create synergy and to be able to reach a much more wider audience for those who will be interested in participating in the giveaway. For the promotion, I may create user generated content, making my audience to be able to share something on social media channels such uploading an image in their best cultural outfit and to use the #TheBaraat2024 to enter the giveaway to have a chance to win a £5000 voucher. I presented the promotional with a traditional mandala round design in the colour to connote the idea of unity, togetherness and elegance and making it appealing to my target audience and making them to be interested to participate in the giveaway for me to be able to reach a wider audience. I then added a burgundy red background behind the white text to connote the traditional colour of a Pakistani wedding and to enhance the white text and to make it more visible to my target audience from a distance. 

Finally, for the text displayed on the visualisation diagram "The wedding story of...", I presented it at the bottom of the front cover in a burgundy red banner frame to connote the idea of elegance and making it more stood out. I changed my mind on the colour, and the font choice of the text to the colour gold and in the font "Cochin" to make it more simplistic and professional. The font choice "Classy" or "Classy vogue" looked too tacky overall as well its being discussed to have it in the colours red. But, it wouldn't have looked great in my opinion and would've looked too cramped and would have stood out. I have decided to keep the text "K AND T" as well as the same decision of it being presented in the font "Classy vogue" I believe was mentioned in the visualization diagram as because it connotes the idea of elegance and the colour white makes the text to stand out a lot more and makes it more professional.

Firstly, I decided the change the whole layout of the contents page of my magazine. My originally idea of creating my contents page of my magazine was to create a DPS and to interpret images of the bride and groom their wedding day and presenting borders in the colour burgundy red to represent the traditional use of a Pakistani wedding behind the images to make them stand out. I then originally had the idea of using the font "Classy" or "Classy vogue" for the title of the page as well in the colour gold to connote the idea of making it elegant and luxury and also to present another burgundy red border frame behind the title to enhance the design of the title. 

I have then decided originally to present images of highlights of each event in a gold frame border to as well as red border frames for the names of each event. Lastly, I initially decided to have the description text of each event in the font "Cochin" I believe in the colour burgundy red and as well having the base colour of each page to be in colour light beige. I did not like the idea of having this layout of my contents page of my magazine as because it didn't meet the codes of conventions and the traditional trends of creating a content page of a magazine. Also, the DPS of the contents page looks really messy and tacky and does not look appealing.

For the finished product of my contents page of my magazine I decided to have it presented on a single page and not as a DPS so that I could meet the traditional trends of creating a contents page and so that it looks more appealing to my target audience. Also, instead of having mini rectangle shaped images presented in a gold frame border on a DPS, I decided to add large images of the bride and groom dressed in their cultural Pakistani attire on their different events all one page on the contents page but lowered the opacity on each image to not discrete the pure, bold quality images until the audience views each page of the magazine. 

I then added the text of the page numbers, the tile of the pages and a short description of what each event that will be presented on that page will be about. I've decided to use the font "Cochin" and in the colour white to make the text to stand out on top of the background image and to make it look professional. I used the colour white to connote the idea the idea of pure and simplicity, as well as adding a black shadow behind the text of the contents page to make the text to stand out a lot more and to make it more visible for the audience. 

Lastly, I added a white banner frame for the title presented for my contents page. I have chosen the colour white for the rectangle banner frame for the title of the contents page as it connotes the idea of it being simplicity and professional. For the title of the page, I used the font "Cochin" to present the idea of the title to look professional and elegant. However, although I have chosen to have the title of the contents page also in the colour white, I added a bold black shadow behind the title of the contents page to make the title to stand out and to make it more visible to my audience.

For the DPS page of my magazine, I did keep the same colour theme of the DPS and the use of fonts, however I did change the layout of my DPS and to change quite a few things. I will start off by talking about the left side of the DPS in which I have discussed about the Rishta event. I have changed the layout at the top of the left side by separating the two images presented on the Rishta day and decided to add a rectangle border frame in which I decided to add an article in which I interviewed both the bride and groom on how they will be able to help prepare audiences in their 20s for their first Rishta and what cultural expectations on how to look and act presentable during the Rishta. Including an article on interviewing my models, connotes the audience to feel a more personal experience from the models presented in their magazine and how their experience went during their Rishta and things to present during the event. I used the colour teal/mint green for the border rectangle frame for the interview article as I wanted it to look appealing to my audience as it connotes the idea of elegance and new beginnings. For the text of the article, I decided to use the font "Cochin" as well as in the colour white to connote the idea of it to look professional and elegant. I then added a gaussian blur effect to the text to make it more visible to my audience and for it to stand out a lot more against the coloured background. 

As there was a few white space on near the images for the Rishta event, I decided to add a mandala design in the colour mint green to contrast well with the colour scheme for page and because I wanted the each page to relate to the genre/theme of my magazine, so adding cultural Pakistani mandala design would look aesthetically pleasing and to enhance the final design of my pages. Secondly, I added a round mandala to connote the idea of unity and togetherness and then I added my couples initials and presented in the colour gold. I decided to use the colour gold for the text of the initials to connote the idea of luxury and elegance. I then used the colour mint green for the round mandala design to contrast well with the colour of the articles on the Rishta page. 

Now for the title for the title of the Rishta page. I initially had the idea of having the text to be "Kaleem Weds Thaiba" in which I wanted it to have full presented throughout the middle on both pages of the DPS.  However, when I came to make to create the magazine, I didn't like the idea of the title to be going across both pages as because firstly, the audience wouldn't be able to know the names of each event and also it would've filled up quite a lot of space from both of the pages of the DPS. So instead, I added the title "Rishta" in all capital letters to make it visible to my audience to know what each event is about. I then added a line mandala art in which I presented on each side of the title to connote the cultural Pakistani art in which relates to theme of my magazine genre/theme. I used the font "Cochin" because it connotes the idea of professional and elegance and making it appealing to my audience. I made the title of my Rishta page to be in the colour mint green to contrast well with the colours of the mandala designs and also the colour of the rectangle border frames. 

Lastly, I decided to stick with the design as the visualization diagram presented for the bottom article for the Rishta event. I used the colour mint green for the rectangle border frame for the article to contrast the overall colour scheme of the Rishta page. I used the font "Cochin" and in the colour white for the text of the article to connote the idea of the article to look professional and simplistic. I duplicated the article text layer and created a gaussian blur effect to give the text an elegant white glowing effect, making it appealing to my target audience. I presented a drop capital in this article to illustrate to my audience the opening of the article of the Rishta page. 

Now for the right side of the DPS I which I talked about the Nikkah event of my models, Kaleem and Thaiba in which was their Islamic wedding. Starting from the top of the Nikkah page, I used the same photo as drawn in my visualization diagram. I decided to use a twirling shot for their Nikkah day as because it connotes a symbol of unity and joy celebrating their marriage. Not only that, it also reveals as a perfect shot to capture the traditional outfits worn by the bride and groom, creating a flowing shot of the brides dress, illustrating the intricate details on both of their outfits. I then also decided to add mandala designs to the image in which I illustrated on procreate to enhance the quality of the image and for it to appealing to my audience. On top of the image, I decided to add the title of the page in the bottom corner all capitalized in the font "Cochin". I used the font "Cochin" as because it illustrates the text look more professional and makes stand out a lot more on the page. I used the colour white and also duplicated the text layer to create a gaussian blur glowing effect to the title to make it more noticeable to my audience.

For the bottom right of the Nikkah page, I decided the use the image in which I had taken of the groom kissing his brides forehead. I decided to use this image than the image of the pose that I drew on my visualization diagram as it connotes the symbol of love, and security, presenting that the groom now takes full responsibility of taking his bride away from her parents house and ensuring that all he fulfils her desires. Again, I also used a mandala border design to enhance the quality of the image and presented it in the colour white so its stands out more on top of the image. 

Lastly, the article presented in the visualization diagram, I decided to use that exact article written on the visualization diagram but to split the rectangle border frame in to halves, to create the image of columns in my magazine as following the code and conventions. I then added the text of the final article for the Nikkah page of the DPS in the font "Cochin" and in the colour white to represent synergy, ensuring that all of the text fonts were the same throughout my magazine. I then duplicated the text layer and added a gaussian blur effect to the articles to create an elegant glowing effect to make the text to stand out and to be more visible to my target audience against the coloured rectangle border frames. I did also use the same colour as mentioned in my visualisation diagram for the rectangle border frames for the Nikkah side to match the colour theme of my models outfits that they wore on their Nikkah. 

Lastly, there was a little bit of white space on the bottom right of the Nikkah page, so I decided to finish the whole look of the page to add in another mandala design that I illustrated in procreate and presented in the colour beige to match the aesthetic of the Nikkah page event and to make it appealing to my target audience. 

Final Product:

Throughout the whole production of making my magazines, I wasn't thinking to make any more pages of my magazine as the main purpose of this unit was to only create a front cover, a contents page and one DPS. However, I wanted to go above and beyond and to finish the whole idea that was in my head after completing the 3 mandatory pages, and to complete a page for each of the different events, instead of having it listed on the contents page, I also wanted to actual present the vision of each event as apart of my magazine.

I decided to create another contents page for my magazine, as because I wanted to have a contents page that in which fits with the genre of my magazine and to have a dome with mandala patterns on the contents page to make look aesthetically pleasing towards my target audience. I have decided to have the dome as a gold element on my contents page as because it symbolises the connotations of unity. elegance and richness between the newly wed couple who are now starting their new journey together.

In the images above, I have created a questionnaire form in which I shared to a few people who were fitted in the target audience of my magazine and received feedback on 'The Baraat' magazine that I have created for this unit. I asked basic information such as their age, gender, if they will be interested in reading the magazine and if it will be beneficial towards them, if there is anything that may need to be adjusted in the magazine and how much they are will to spend on the magazine. 

CLIENT'S FEEDBACK: 

Above is the response that I have received from the audience that I have sent my questionnaire form to. 

There is a lot of strengths from the results of my magazine 'The Baraat' as I have sent the magazine to an equal number of males and females to receive feedback from and I also ensured that the feedback was give within the age range for the target audience to receive a realistic response. The great responses was that everyone was willing to be interested in reading and purchasing my magazine and loved the idea of the genre and considered of it being a unique genre, they all wanted the final outcome to be printed rather than digital. I was hoping for the responses to be printed as because I wanted it to be printed myself too as because its more personal in a way and audiences will be able to focus a lot more reading it printed than reading it digitally. 

Another strength, is that half of the responses from my audience were not planning or being involved in a South Asian wedding, however they were still happily be interested in reading my magazine and to see how another baraat went and to receive ideas for a future wedding they may take part in or even when they start planning their own wedding. 

I was also happy of the strength that I was given reasonable improvements for the finish draft version of my magazine. The first improvement that I was given was to add mandala designs to images that I have included in my magazine. This was because it will enhance the look of my magazine pages and will also relate to genre theme of my magazine. The other feedback that I was given was to add in page numbers on my magazine pages in which correspond to the content page. This will be beneficial as because it will be noticeable to the readers and notify them that they are reading the correct page and also it will be useful for my readers to instantly read a certain section of a page that they would like to read. 

However, a weakness of the feedback response was that only 2 people was able to send over their opinions on my magazine out of 4 people. I was hoping that I would have been able to receive feedback from all four people that I have sent my questionnaire to, but only two replied which created a low amount of feedback given for my magazine.

LO4: Evidence of Editing | Assets

FRONT COVER:

In the image above, I used Procreate to adjust the brightness, hue and Saturation for the front cover image for my magazine. I chose this image because it shows both of the representations that will be in my magazine. This image strikes both models on their wedding day in traditional Pakistani attire showing my target audience what the magazine is about just by looking at the front cover. 

In the image of the left I erased the part of the masthead of my magazine called 'The Baraat" which was showing on top of my model. I enlarged the text 'THE' so that it is visible to see behind my model on the left of the image shown above. I then added another layer on top with a gold foil royalty free image which I then clipping masked over the 'Baraat' to give it the gold effect and making it stood out. I then added a white layer underneath the 'Baraat' and lowered the opacity creating a drop shadow connoting and 'The Baraat' is the main ideal topic of my magazine, allowing my audience to know what the magazine is known for. 

I did change the colour of my masthead for the word 'THE' to white instead of previously having it as red because the white stood out a lot more nicer and looks really bold and bright and connotes the idea of it looking more professional. 

I add my models initials "K AND T" in the font...I chose this font on procreate because it makes the initials of my models name to stand out and to emphasise that the magazine is about them and telling the love story of "K and T" revealing that they are the main representations in the magazine. I duplicated the layer of the text and then I  applied a gaussian blur on the bottom layer to give it the effect of the white text to shine bright and to make it catch my audience attention instantly. 

One of the last steps I added on the front cover was graphics and rectangle shapes in which I drew on procreate. Starting with the bold circle henna design. I decided to add a henna design on to my front cover because it enhances the look of my magazine. I wanted this magazine to look really traditional and South Asian cultured. I used a soft brush as an eraser on the ends of the henna design to give it the effect if it looking 3D in away and to give it a realistic effect and sort of creating a shadow behind the bride in the image. 

In the image above, presents me adding a circle mandala design in the colour gold to connote the idea of it to look professional and elegant. However, the gold didn't stand a lot so I duplicated the layer and made the design white to lighten up the gold design and to make it stand out against the background image of the front cover. 

In the middle of the design, I coloured the centre in burgundy red to connote the idea of it to look traditional and to match the theme of a Pakistani wedding magazine. 

Lastly,  I used the colour white and the font "Classy Vogue" for the whole text, but I wanted the buzz word "Win" to stand out and to draw my audience attention so I used the font "Deluce" which I downloaded on DaFont and imported it onto procreate.

CONTENTS PAGE: 

I added pictures of my models are there different events during their wedding week on my contents page and I wanted to keep their looks discreet towards the audience to build up tension. Because of this, I lowered down the opacity of the images on the contents page to whiten the images creating a soft dull look. 

In the images above presented me firstly creating a white rectangle banner which is where I will be displaying the text "contents" for the title of the page. Again, I used the font "Cochin" for the title of the word "contents" to make it look professional. I used the colour white but I duplicated the layer and creating a black gaussian blur behind the text making the white text to stand out on the white rectangle. 

I then made all the letters all capitalized to make it more visible to be seen from quite of a distance. 

For the subheadings and body text I used the font "Cochin" also as well in the colour white to create contrast of the main contents background image.

 I then duplicated the layer and filled in black and gaussian blurred the layers to create a shadow behind the text, making the white text to stand out on top of the image. 

RISHTA | NIKKAH: DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD: 

The two photos presented above illustrate the edit changes I made for both of the images taken by me on the Rishta day. I chose to brighten both of the images to connote the emotion of happiness and joy to illustrate the couple starting their new journey in life together. 

In the two images revealed showcase the mandala banner design I made for the title of the page "RISHTA". I used the font cochin for the all of the main text presented on my magazine but the font makes the writing stand out a lot and also it looks professional. I also made the colour of the text and the colour of the mandala banner to match the colour of the brides attire. 

I also added a rectangle shape frame in the same colour gradient as the text and the mandala border in which I will display by body copy article text on the 'RISHTA' page of my magazine. This is because it will make the text to stand out a lot more against the images presented on the image. 

In the image above, I have added the body article text of the "RISHTA" page of my magazine in the font cochin as well as in the colour white. I have chosen the font cochin and the colour which to illustrate a professional look to my magazine. I also added a drop capital on this article to illustrate the reasons the beginning story of Kaleem and Thaiba and sharing the story from when it all began. Lastly, I duplicate the text layer and then added a gaussian blur to one layer to make the white text to stand out a lot more on the coloured background. 

NIKKAH:

In the images presented above illustrate the edits I have made to both of these images of my models by adjusting the hue brightness and saturation on the image. I went for a cool tone for the Nikkah images to connote the realistic weather on how it was on the day of the Nikkah. 

In the screenshot above illustrates me applying a henna design in which I drew on procreate using the technical pen used on procreate (screenshots of the versions of me creating the henna designs are on my assets post). I used the colour white to present the henna design and borders to make it look professional and to make it stand out bright on the images illustrated on my magazine. 

In this image presented in the image illustrates me using a technical pen in procreate to create the border of the rectangle for the article for the Nikkah page in my magazine. I made the colours of the rectangle border to be in the colour beige/brown to convey the contrast of the colours of the bride and grooms Nikkah outfit. 

In the image above, illustrates me gaussian blurring the duplicated layer of the article on the left and the word "Nikkah", making both of the text to stand out and making it more visible to read for the audience.

DHOLKI AND MEHNDI DPS:

In this image above demonstrates me editing the images above for the Dholki page by adjusting the hue, saturation and the brightness of the image and making it more appealing and not dull. I increased the saturation on both of the images because I wanted the images to stand out and to make the colours on the images more vibrant. 

In the image above, demonstrates me drawing a burgundy red border frame for the article for the Dholki page. I also added a mandala design in which I illustrated on Procreate using the technical brush found in the inking section. I used both of these assets in the colour Burgundy so that it contrasts well with the pictures used for the Dholki page. 

In the image above, it reveals me using the font "Cochin" for the body copy text for this article. I have chosen to use the "Cochin" font because it connotes the idea of it look professional and making it appealing to my audience my using a font that looks neat and simplistic. I also used the colour white for the body copy of the Dholki page because I wanted the text to be visible towards the audience when being placed on top of a coloured border. I then duplicated the text layer and used a gaussian blur effect to the text layer, to make it glow and to stand out a lot more on the burgundy rectangle border frame. 

 

For the images both, I had some space between the mandala design and the rectangle border. Because of this, I believe this was the best place to add the title of my the page "Dholki". I added the text "Dholki" using the font "Didot" to make the text to look professional and for it to stand out against the soft airbrush in corner. 

After adding the text "Didot" I duplicated the layer and and did a gaussian blur on that layer to create a drop show effect. I created a drop shadow effect so that the text "Dholki" can stand out against the coloured area. 

MEHNDI:

In this image above, illustrates me editing the images in which I captured on their Mehndi day by adjusting the hue, saturation and the brightness of the images.

I wanted to increase the saturation the most in the images by roughly 10% because I wanted the colours of the images to be bold and vibrant to match the vibe of the Mehndi night. 

In the image above presents the layout I have chosen for the Mehndi page and organized where the photos and the articles will go. 

As seen above, I have made the rectangle border frame assets in the colour of my models Mehndi outfit to enhance to look of the page and also to make easier for my audience to know which article belong to whose Mehndi day. 

Firstly, I used the snipping/selector tool, which is the 3rd icon on the top left and selected the rectangle option for me to create a split down the orange rectangle border frame to create to article columns. 

I also added a picture of a sign that the bride had at her Mehndi event illustrating "Thaiba Ki Mehndi" meaning "Thaiba's Mehndi" on top of her image to enhance the look of the image and the Mehndi page. 

Also, in this image I used the font "Cochin" for my articles on the Mehndi page, again in the colour white to connote of the idea to constantly keep the all of the fonts the same throughout the magazine to make it look professional. I used the font "Cochin" and for it to be in colour white to connote the idea of it to look professional and simplistic and for it to be appealing to my audience. 

In the final version of creating the Mehndi page of my DPS, I firstly duplicated the text of the Mehndi articles and created a gaussian blur effect, making the white text to stand out and to make it more visible. 

I then added mandala designs on to the images in which I have used for the Mehndi day because it made the images to stand out and for it to also fit in the South Asian genre of my magazine. I made the mandala designs in the colour white for my magazine so they stand out and for it to be visible to my audience. 

WEDDING:

In the images presented above, firstly I used the lasso tool to cut around the groom out of the image so that I was able to do gaussian blur for the background only, keeping only the groom in full focus. 

In the images above present me editing the final images in which I will be presenting for my final DPS of my magazine. I wanted the images of their wedding wedding to be bold and making my models to be presented outstanding in the images. 

I adjusted to hue, saturation and brightness of the three images in which I took of my models on their wedding day, revealing the bittersweet emotions and their facial expressions before making their entrance on their Baraat.

In the images presented above, I added in the rectangle border frames of the final DPS which is the wedding day. I wanted the rectangle border frames to be in the plum read to contrast well with the outfits by my models on their wedding day. 

I also added in mandala designs presented in the image on the right. I've decide to add mandala designs on the final DPS of my magazine because it enhanced the whole look of the DPS and connotes the vision of the magazine being a South Asian magazine. 

In the image presented above illustrates me adding the body copy and the title of the articles of the final event. The articles I have discussed is "Why Black?" which will be the article on the top left next to the portrait of the groom. And for the two rectangle border frames on the bottom left, one will be called "Why Red?" which is for the bride and the tradition of the colour red worn by the bride and the second called "Rukhsati". A Rukhsati takes place at the end of the wedding with many tears being shed by the brides family with smiles and sadness as they say their goodbyes as the newly wed couple embark their new life together as the bride leaves her family and is now no longer her dads responsibility of being looked after but her husbands responsibility to make sure he fulfils his wife's happiness.

The last article will be called "The Baraat". In this article, I will be talking about what takes place from the start to the event of The Baraat, cultural traditions, dancing, beats of the drum, fireworks, smoke grenades etc. 

I used the font "Cochin" and presented the text in the colour white to make the articles professional and for it to stand out against the coloured rectangle border frames. 

In this image, it reveals me duplicating the text of the articles that I have discussed in my final DPS and adding a gaussian blur on the duplicated layer to create a glowing white text effect. I did this so that the white text can stand out a lot more on the coloured rectangle border frame and for it to be visible for my audience.
